Excellent Reddit post by Seekingtruthforgood
With the receipt of the recent Joy documents I just posted, I was reminded of a very important conflict with barrel 2. Without creating a long post with citations (you can find prior posts on TTM using the below tag numbers in your search query), in summary, barrel 2 was recovered from the Dassey/Janda property, along with 3 other barrels. Human bones were recovered from barrel 2 (tag 7964) and Reimer described “possible tissue pieces” found with those bones.
- Barrel 2 was tagged #643;
- its contents were tagged #8314; and,
- the human bones recovered from barrel 2 were tagged #7964.
Also, if not aware, portions of 7964 were sent to the tool marks division of the FBI. The FBI found that certain bones from 7964 contained cut marks. 7964 bones also contained pupal casings. Both of these findings are remarkable coincidences because 8675, the human bone pile located in the quarry, also contained human bones with cut marks and pupal casings – specifically the pelvic bone contained cut marks… but, of course… inexplicably, the state returned the pelvic bone to the family along with the human bones from Dassey/Janda barrel 2 on 9/20/2011.
Now, in getting to the point of the conflict that exists with barrel 2 human bones, in again reading Reimer’s reports, but this time lined up with the detail of the evidence transported by Joy, I was reminded that, per the reports,
- Ertl processed barrel 2 as tag #643 on 11/7. His report made no mention of bones or possible tissue.
- Joy transported the contents of barrel 2 to crime lab on 11/9. The reports denote he transported the contents under tag #8314.
- Riemer, mysteriously, also processed the contents of barrel 2 on 11/12, but Reimer indicated he processed those contents under tag #643.
Ummm… errr…
Okay, so this has been covered here on TTM a few times, I believe. I just wanted to point it out again because the connection between the human bones in Dassey barrel #2 and the human bones in the quarry is quite compelling.
