Daniel Holtzclaw – Justice Denied

Hello!

I just want to share a case with everyone, a case you may have heard of, or even be involved in researching. The case is the wrongful conviction of Daniel Holtzclaw. Daniel was a police officer in Enid Oklahoma. On June 18, 2014, at 2 AM, after completing his shift for OCPD Springlake Division, Daniel headed home. He turned off his AVL which was his normal practice but had recently been disallowed per department policy. Daniel noticed a car just ahead of him that swerved slightly and because Daniel wanted to make sure the driver wasn’t impaired; he pulled the driver over. The driver of the car was Jannie Ligons. This one, seemingly normal stop, was the catalyst of what has become one of the most egregious, wrongful conviction cases in recent history. Daniel was charged with 36 counts of various sexual assault crimes, against 13 different women. Ultimately, Daniel went to trial and on December 10, 2015, on his 29th birthday, Daniel was convicted of 18 of the 36 charges on 12 of the women and received a 263 YEAR sentence.

There was NO DNA in these cases with the exception of one piece. It was the only DNA tested form one item of clothing from only one spot on the item and despite what the lab technician reported, the source was determined to be touch DNA.

Daniel is now serving his sentence in an undisclosed prison and now, he needs all of us, to fight for him! For his FREEDOM!
